BEWILDER
Design of a wheel bearing lock that is characterized by two parts that cover the steering wheel. It is a wheel steering inspiring systems with a free rotation to prevent thieves to turn and unblock the steering wheel.
The Brief
It is characterized by three main parts linked respectively to the final user, the research on the mode of use of the designed product and in the end the features connected to the product that is redesigned.
The Concepts
Among the three choices proposed during the first brainstorming step and visible below, the team decided to opt for the redesign of the bearing wheel.
This is the most unexpected and “crazy” idea out of all three. The project basically transforms the steering wheel into a bearing wheel, so that it can’t be rotated anymore by anyone except the owner of the car.
